Dakota Johnson has truly outdone herself on the red carpet. On Thursday, September 11, The Materialists star pulled up to the Kering Foundation's Caring for Women dinner at The Pool during New York Fashion Week, and let’s just say her risqué look definitely turned some heads.
She wore the ultimate revenge dress from Gucci at the charity event, in the form of a floor-length sheer lace gown, along with Fleur du Mal’s Top Stitch Convertible Bra and Luxe Cheeky Panty to match. Her stylist, Kate Young, also paired the look with black open-toed pumps, emerald earrings, and a sparkling necklace.

The outing marks the actor’s first public appearance since August, when she promoted her film Splitsville. She has hit the red carpet solo on multiple occasions since her breakup with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in June.
She was romantically linked to the “Clocks” musician for eight years before they called it quits.
According to People insiders, their split “feels final this time,” while another source from Page Six said that Dakota “was sick of him dragging his feet on setting a date for the wedding.” Their split also allegedly stemmed from Chris “not wanting to have more kids.”
“Their relationship has been over for a long time, they just haven’t been able to figure out to make it official. Dakota held a flame for them to be together because she loved him so much and loved his kids so much,” another insider from the Daily Mail said at the time.
They added, “Breakups aren’t instant and they continued to breakup and makeup and sometimes things would work when they were away from each other, while they were working because absence makes the heart grow fonder, but then they’d get back together and little things just kept adding up to where they weren’t right for each other anymore. Dakota is devastated that she isn’t going to be around his kids as much anymore, but wants them to know that she is always there for them.”
